Companies integrate McAfee’s Network Security Platform and VMware’s NSX. Intel Security and VMware designed an integrated solution to provide Intelligent IPS to protect east-west traffic within the data centre. The product includes Intel Security’s McAfee NSP IPS-VM100-VSS, McAfee Network Security Manager, Intel Security Controller and VMware NSX network virtualisation platform. The partners said enterprise and service provider customers will see the same data centre outcomes that Intel Security provides for north-south traffic at the perimeter of the data centre.
